A World Without Princes (The School for Good and Evil, #2)A World Without Princes by Soman Chainani

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The School for Good and Evil: World Without Princes is the sequel or the second book in The School for Good and Evil series by Soman Chainani. It follows the story of best friends–Agatha and Sophie. After ending their fairytale, one of them felt like she needed more. As it all goes down, they both found themselves back. But how? Is everything like before? Is there a new enemy they should prepare for? What happened to the school master? What happened to Tedros?

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as the first book because as the second book, it acts like the middle part of the story. But then, I still felt like there was something that’s missing.

The story in my opinion, was slow at first. I didn’t like how it came out. The story’s plot rose only when the story’s half way end. I was expecting more thrilling fights and so but unfortunately, only half of it was fulfilled.

Anyways, the story was good! Let’s not forget the values that’s in this book. I love that this book gave me a bigger perspective towards good and evil things.

Over all, the characters were developed, the narration was clear and the cover’s great. Though this second book got 4 out of 5 stars from me, I still HIGHLY recommend this to readers. They might like what I didn’t that much.
